Yes, cleaning your make-up brushes after every use seems like a lot of effort. But keeping them clean can have them lasting longer and working optimally with every use. Also, having dirty make-up brushes lying around just doesn’t look good. So, show your beloved tools some love, keep them looking new with a lavish shine and soft bristles. After-all, it only takes a couple minutes.

All you need to do is lightly douse or spray your used brushes bristles with a disinfectant soap solution or brush cleaner, then swirl them onto a paper towel or cotton pad until dry. Spot cleaning your brushes is great for disinfecting your brushes and removing surface make-up etc. Your brushes will also dry quickly so you can get on with your day in no time.

Keep in mind that spot cleaning only removes a small amount of the muck your brushes collect over time. The disinfectant may also dry out the bristles on your brushes. So, remember to give them a good deep cleanse every week or so to keep them from drying out and becoming brittle.
